George Hruban Obituary

George J. Hruban, age 89, loved life and lived it to the fullest! He loved spending all his time with his family. He loved to laugh, share stories, and eat. He believed life was precious. George was a proud member of the Marine Corps.

He loved and adored his wife, Sara (Rodgers). His children were his pride and joy; the late George (Pam), the late Pat (Bill), Tom (Deborah), Laurie Stock ( Ken), Sheila Ravetto (Tom). He was a loving and proud grandpa and papa to Billy (Sara), Joe (Kaleigh), Robert (Alex), Jim (Brooke), Kathleen, Ben, George, Pete, Joel, Patrick, Will, Hank and great-grandfather to five. George was greeted in Heaven by his siblings Steve (Dolores), Sylvia Stefancich (Tom), and Joe (Francis). He was a loving uncle to many.
George’s memory, quick wit, and loving spirit will live on in all who loved him.

Per George's wishes, his remains have been donated to Scientific Study.  A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Incarnation Catholic Church, 5757 W. 127th Street, Crestwood.  Arrangements entrusted to the Becvar & Son Funeral Home, 5539 W. 127th Street, Crestwood.  (708) 824-9000 or www.becvarfuneralhome.com
